What is Heal in Heels?
Heal in Heels is a recreational dance class for non-dancers & first timers where we break movements down at a slower pace. It’s a safe place to reclaim your body, discover yourself, try something new & build connection through healing, self-love and dance.
Is it beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! Hence, our classes are two hours instead of the standard one hour to ensure we can break moves down and have ample time to feel confident in our bodies.
Can I join if I’m not a beginner?
Yes! if you’re an intermediate or advanced dancer that is seeking a positive, safe, fun and supportive community, you are more than welcome to come join us! Know class will still be at a slower pace for all of our new dance friends but the love is high impact!
What levels do you offer?
ULTRA BEG: Absolute first-timers. We start from the ground up!
BEG: You know the basics but want to build your confidence.
BEG/INT: Ready for a bit more speed and technicality.
INT: Ready for challenging moves, groove, details and speed.
Is this LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely. We welcome anyone who is seeking a safe and supportive community and looking to have a good time.
What classes do you offer?
Heal in Heels: Dancing in heels. Kneepads needed for Beginner/Intermediate levels.
Heal in Sneakers: Hip Hop, KPOP, Femme & Jazz Funk or Twerk styles in sneakers.
When & where are classes held?
Check the subject line in your class confirmation email, the class title on the registration page or the flyers posted on our socials for which class is in which location.

Will you host classes outside of Minnesota?
Yes - we are working on connecting with studios and businesses/individuals in each state to help us make it happen!
How much are classes?
$25 for a 2 hour class.
How do I register?
Visit our classes tab and click the registration links for the classes announced. One registration per student is required to ensure each student has signed a waiver.
Can I get a refund?
Due to various reasons, we are not able to offer refunds or credits. However, you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to another person (this can be done via Paypal, Venmo etc). Please let us know who will be replacing you via email at info@heal-in-heels.com with the subject line: Ticket Transfer (Class Date). Include your name and the name of the new ticket owner.
What do I wear/bring?
Heels or sneakers, knee pads or long pants to cover your knees, and anything that makes you feel sexy yet comfortable to move and sweat in! Could be a crop top and leggings, lingerie, bralette and bikini bottoms--whatever makes you feel confident! We don’t recommend dresses! Watch our class videos on Instagram or Facebook to see what students wear! Bring a water bottle!
What shoes do I wear?
Heels or sneakers are both fine but make sure your ankles are secured! We don’t recommend wedges, or pointed-toe stilletos. No more than 3-4 inch heels recommended.
How do I redeem a free class from my punch card?
Once you finished all 10 punches, email or message Heal in Heels to apply it to a class of your choice. Please bring the punch card day of class to complete redemption. One punch card per person, one punch per class (no missed punches will be accounted for).
